Removing a background uses 1 credit, and an AI background 1 more, so a photo with an AI background uses 2. Trying another AI background on the same photo uses 1. A video uses 1 credit for every 2 seconds. Opening a photo again, switching it to a colour, blur or photo background, changing the shadow, and downloading are free. Anything that fails is refunded automatically. Payments aren’t refundable except for billing errors; see the refund policy.

How much does ReplaceMyBG cost?
It’s free to try with 5 background removals and 3 AI backgrounds. Starter is $5.99 a month, or $48 a year ($4 a month), for 600 credits a month. Pro is $10.99 a month, or $84 a year ($7 a month), for 2,000 credits a month and adds video and batch processing.
What is a credit?
Removing a background uses 1 credit, and an AI background uses 1 more, so a photo with an AI background uses 2. Starter’s 600 credits cover up to 600 background removals or 300 photos with AI backgrounds; Pro’s 2,000 cover up to 2,000 or 1,000. You can mix them. Colour, blur and photo backgrounds, shadows and downloads are free.
If I pay yearly, do I get all the credits at once?
No. You pay for 12 months up front and get the plan’s credits every month, on the same day each month. Yearly saves up to 36% on Pro.
Do unused credits carry over?
Monthly plan credits are refilled each month and don’t carry over. Credit packs (200 credits for $5) never expire and are used after your monthly credits.
Is there a discount for the first month?
While the launch offer runs, your first month on a monthly plan is 80% off: $1.20 for Starter or $2.20 for Pro. It doesn’t apply to yearly plans, which are already discounted.
Can I cancel or change plan?
Yes, any time from your account. Your plan lasts to the end of the period you’ve paid for. Upgrades apply straight away; downgrades and switches from yearly to monthly apply at your next renewal.
Do I get a refund?
Credits are added as soon as you pay, so payments aren’t refundable except for billing errors, such as a double charge or a plan that wasn’t applied. Anything that fails, such as a cutout that finds no subject, gives its credits back automatically.
